Get ready for the party of the year: Studio GB will be one epic, disco glamour bash you won't want to miss. This glittering Invercargill event will be the talk of the town. Want to know more?
We encourage all guests to consume alcohol responsibly: and this means making sure you get home safely. There are multiple Invercargill taxi companies available to take you home, however please do note that buses will not be operating at this time and we do not yet have Uber in Invercargill.
Doors will open at 6.30pm.
Keep the party going, and check out Invercargill's nightlife hub in the CBD. Why not try some of the newer establishments - The Taproom, on Dee St, or the rooftop bar at The Langlands Hotel? You'll find all of Invercargill's late-night entertainment happening in the inner-city.
Go big, or go home! We're replicating the disco glamour vibe of iconic NYC hotspot Studio 54 right here at our Invercargill event. Think sequins, velvet, wide legs, paisley, and more. The bolder, the better! All guests are strongly encouraged to get into the retro spirit of the George Begg Festival, and come kitted out accordingly.
Included in your ticket price is a drink upon arrival. There will also be a cash bar available.
Studio GB will be held in Bill's Shed: the jewel in the crown at Bill Richardson Transport World (491 Tay Street, Invercargill). This spectacular Invercargill events venue will make your jaw drop. Party the night away in an atmosphere unlike any other: Studio GB will be set against a backdrop of gleaming classic cars including Ford letter cars, grunty V8s from the 1930s, and more.
Get ready to get your groove on! Our live entertainment comes courtesy of The Beat Girls and they're bound to get the party rocking. Billed as 'pure adrenaline on high heels', you'll be up dancing to The Beat Girls in no time.
